Relay keeps ringing with the window closed.
The same app, in a real Windows window. It lives in the notification area, rings when you have closed it, and answers tel: links from anywhere on your computer.
Relay Desktop requires a Relay account. Create yours, it's free — installing alone is not enough.
Windows 10 and 11 · 64-bit · 114.8 MB · version 0.1.0
Windows will show a warning.
Relay Desktop is not code-signed yet. On first launch, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”. That is expected, and here are the two clicks to make:
- 1Click “More info”.
- 2Click “Run anyway”.
Code signing requires a yearly subscription we have not taken yet. We would rather tell you here than let you discover it alone in front of the screen. The SHA-256 published below lets you verify your file is really ours.
What a browser tab cannot do.
Calls come in with the window closed
Closing a tab destroys the line and the call is lost. Relay Desktop stays in the notification area and keeps ringing.
Native notifications, and silence on demand
Calls and texts show up like any system notification. Do not disturb mutes them for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours or until morning.
tel: links from anywhere on the computer
A number clicked in Outlook, in Excel or on a website opens Relay and dials.
Global keyboard shortcuts
Answer, hang up, mute — from any application, without going back to the window.
Starts with Windows
Relay launches into the notification area at sign-in. Your line is ready before you are.
